Missions

Jesus told his church to ‘Go into all the world and preach the Gospel,’ and through our missions program Enterprise Christian Church tries to take the message and love of Jesus around the world.

Our church supports the following:

• Boise Bible College – a Bible college associated with the Christian Churches
• Christian World Mission (Chile) – CWM oversees private schools, trains ministers, and establishes churches in Chile. Enterprise Christian Church has helped to establish churches in the southern islands of Chile.
• Cove Christian Camp (Cove, OR) – a Christian camp and retreat center.
• C.Y. Kim – The Kims minister in China, Cambodia and the Philippines.
• Emmanuel Christian Seminary (Johnson City, Tennessee) – a seminary of the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ.
• The International Disaster Emergency System (IDES) – this is the ‘Red Cross’ of the Christian Churches. Through our support if IDES we have helped victims of earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, floods, and starvation.
• Kulpahar Kid’s Home (India) – this ministry is an outreach to orphans in Northern India.
• The Oregon Christian Evangelistic Association (OCEF): the OCEF works to help start new churches in the state of Oregon.
• Mision Caribe (Honduras) – Mission Caribe establishes churches, trains ministers, and runs an orphanage. We have supported four different ‘short-term’ mission trips to Honduras.
• Warm Hearth (Armenia) – this home ministers to handicapped adults in Armenia.

Enterprise Christian Church has a strong history of emphasizing world outreach through the offering of ‘short-term mission trips.’ We have sponsored four trips to Honduras, two trips to Chile, and one trip to Plaquamines Parish, Louisiana. We have repaired and built buildings, we have constructed water systems, we have done evangelistic work, and we have offered medical help. We also have numerous ‘special offering emphases’ throughout the year so that our church’s influence will extend beyond Wallowa County.
